Mmm... Art is something to be understood, enjoyed, and mused upon. With this, I did none of the aforementioned.
I think you chose semiotic devices somewhat badly, and the feel of the game was clunky and counter-intuitive. During the fall, I first thought I was supposed to re-ascend and spent a good while jumping on stars to try and get back up. While this could have been your intent, I'm not so sure about the clouds. The whole thing just felt... meh, in general.
Not terrible; it's better than I could program, but you still have a way to go.
Not at all bad.
Loving the retro style, unless this is a game ripped and reposted from decades ago... but... what the hell is with the Totenham Hotspurs comments?
Makes no sense.
Still, not at all bad.
I like the idea that you're supposed to cure as opposed to infect, it's different for the series. Oh, and I got 0 healthy, all the rest as immune... yet no win? How am I supposed to win? :l
Broken. So broken.
A nice concept, but badly pulled off.
For instance, third level... I somehow died after jumping onto one of the platforms. Only three lives before restarting?
And, you can restart the level with no loss of lives if you hit the X in the corner before dying. Maybe cancel the restart button is Joe is moving.
Graphics aren't so bad... but maybe instead of spinning at the door... opening it instead? :l
Just a few niggling things really that break the game into something ... strange.
Still, not bad for an intermediate.
Using semiotics that are cliché, this game tries to scare the pants off you.
A nice use, however, of actionscript to allow new activities in old areas when certain perquisites have been met.
Way too short, and way too ambiguous.
It's trying to be far too 'artistic' - it should be more of a game.
Still, it's a good attempt at being something great.
Keep trying, I want to see what you've really got.
